MyBB is lame, though. It's overused and not half as good as Xenforo.

I think I should post my opinion as well.
First of all, no forum software is ever considerably "overused". If you have a look at the number of forums, you'll see MyBB isn't even at the top. I prefer MyBB over the other forum softwares because of two clear reasons: 1. Its free. 2. Its very easy to use. I've tried phpBB before and its quite complicated in some features. And not very good in terms of ease of use for members. XenForo to me looks to be heading towards the side of Social Networks than forums. Its good though, no doubt. |

phpBB is quite complicated on permission thing, i don't know why did they made it on that way. It's so stupid.
